Underground Utility Locating

Utility location is the process of identifying of all underground pipes and cables otherwise known as utilities or services. Utec Solutions provides accredited service locators who conduct a site service search using state of the art equipment. Utec Solutions provide experienced locators who utilise RD8100 EM locators and Mala Ground Penetrating Radars (GPR) to locate and mark sub-surface utilities.

Utec Solutions will tailor the site investigation to the level of information and accuracy required by our clients. All services are marked in accordance with AS 5488 – Classification of Subsurface Utility Information to determine the level of accuracy.

Utec Solutions understands our clients and the end user needs when underground locating. Our works is tailored to our clients specific needs minimise time and cost and ensure that the results are to fit for purpose. We provide a thorough handover to our clients in the form of both site walks and cloud-based reports and photo’s emailed directly from site.

Having in house utility engineers and civil excavation crew we know the difference to our clients between lines on the ground and quality locating and reporting which an be used for reports, design, permits and excavation.
